After completing my BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at Norwich School of Art, Norfolk, I gained my Post Graduate Diploma in Painting at the Royal Academy<\/a> School of Art, London. <\/span><\/p>\n During my third year at the Royal Academy I had the privilege of studying under Cliff Holden, a student of David Bomberg and President of the Borough Group.<\/p>\n Presently, I am a Commissioning Portrait Painter and Old Master Copyist, working in Windsor, Berkshire. As part of my work, I also study and copy paintings at the National Gallery<\/a>, London, where I collate information to help me with private commissions of Old Master copies and portraits.<\/p>\n I have exhibited work in various exhibitions, including the Sunday Times Water Colour Exhibition, the Cable & Wireless Exhibition and the Royal Academy Summer Show, amongst others. I have exhibited a one man show of portraits at Beningbrough Hall in York, and a one man exhibition of landscapes at the Cromwell Hospital and the Windsor Arts Centre. I have also exhibited in the BP Portrait Award Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery<\/a>, London.<\/p>\n I have won a number of awards and prizes for my art, including the Vincent Harris Prize for Mural Painting and the Arthur Hacker Prize for Portraiture in 1994\/95.
